Stora Valla is a football stadium located in the small town of Degerfors, Sweden. It is the home ground of Degerfors IF, a club that has a rich history and deep roots in the community. Stadium Information

 Stora Valla was inaugurated on July 24, 1938, and has a current seating capacity of 5800 spectators during the Allsvenskan season 2022. The stadium consists of a main stand on the west side with 1044 seats under a roof, dressing rooms, press stands, and the spartan Café Skitiga Bullen. On the east side, there are a few rows of concrete stands, as well as a few standing terraces. These terraces are made up of steel frames with wooden planks on top and are classified as temporary mobile stands. The southern end of the stadium houses a standing terrace for visiting supporters, which is enclosed and approved for 750 people. The northern end of the stadium has no stands but features a rounded slope where spectators can stand.

Degerfors IF

Degerfors IF is a Swedish football club that was founded in 1907 in Degerfors, Värmland. The team played in the Allsvenskan league for the first time in 1938 and has since won two silver medals in the league and the Swedish Cup in 1993. Degerfors' glory days were during the 1940s and 1950s when the team took five medals, including the big silver in 1940/41. The team was known for having star players like Gunnar Nordahl and Tord Grip. Degerfors was relegated from the Allsvenskan league in 1966 and spent many years playing in lower divisions before returning to the Allsvenskan in 2021.
